Connection Charge for all WLR Basic Analogue lines above ‘Background Count’.

Note:

For the 26 calendar weeks between January 2009 and June 2009, Openreach will calculate the average number of new connections of WLR Analogue Basic lines delivered for each CP per week. (Known as ‘Background Count’). For those CPs, that for any reason, do not have a measurable Background Count, Openreach will use a Background Count of 1.

Openreach will advise each CP of their specific Background Count via their Sales and Relationship Manager.

The offer period will run from 17th October 2009 to 26th March 2010 (inclusive).

Please note in order that CPs’ average achievements are not adversely affected, the WLR Analogue Basic connections made during the Christmas and New Year period, between 19th December 2009 and 8th January 2010 (inclusive) are excluded from the Scheme.

At the end of each evaluation period within the Scheme; Openreach will calculate the average weekly new connection rate performance:
- Evaluation Period 1: between 17th October 2009 and 18th December 2009 (9 weeks)
- Evaluation Period 2: between 9th January 2010 and 26th March 2010 (11 weeks)

During each evaluation period, Openreach will measure each CP’s sales performance and calculate an average number of weekly connections.

Each CP will receive a connection charge discount on all lines installed during the Scheme time period which are over the ‘background count’.

The discount will be calculated at the end of each separate evaluation Period and a billing credit issued to each CP within 60 calendar days.
