Enhanced Manage Line Characteristics (eMLC)

You will be able to understand what services (FTTP, FTTC, SOGEA etc) are available for your customer at the address you are looking at. You will also be able to see the line characteristics such as potential line speed, available bandwidth etc. This means you will be able to instantly provide customers with the available options.

Address Matching

Enables you to understand whether the customer address you are looking at is on Openreach systems, this is fundamental when placing provide orders.

Appointing

Allows you and your customers to book and amend the necessary engineer appointments required for New line Provides, line tests and repair visits. This means you can keep your customers up to date at all times with the latest appointments/repairs visit dates.

Line Test and Diagnostics

Using this service over the B2B gateway will give you the ability to test the service you are providing across our network to your customer. This will be particularly useful if the customer raises a fault. This is only available over the B2B gateway.

Overnight Line Test

Gives you the ability to test the service you are providing across our network to your customer. This will be particularly useful if/when the customer raises a fault. 

Number Portability (Export)

Gives you the ability to understand whether or not it will be possible to port the customers number as part of a provide order. 

Managed link Order (MLO)

Ability to check on the status' of your customers linked order. This will be useful for keeping your customers updated about both legs of their SIM provide.

Tie Pair Checker

Ability to query and understand the status' of your TIE PAIRS in realtime. It also returns the Left In Jumper (LIJ) status if the tie pairs are in a left in state. Where this is applicable or the tie pairs are not spare, the Service ID of the LLU (SMPF or MPF) service will also be returned. This will help you recognize the exact location of the left in ties. 

Request Connection Price Band

Allows you to understand the connection charging band the order will be in due to the variable distance before you place the order. This allows you to fully understand your potential financial commitments prior to order placement.

Service Test and Diagnostics

Using this service over the B2B gateway will give you the ability to test the service you are providing across our network to your customer. This will be particularly useful if the customer raises a fault. This is only available over the B2B gateway.

Manage Line Plant Availability (MLPA)

Provides you the ability to understand the Line Plant Availability at your customer/ perspective customers address. It will provide line/service information associated with the copper bearers at that address.

Obtain Installation Details (OID)

Provides you the ability to Obtain Installation details Dialogue Service and to return information on a given WLR installation. If you do not already own the line, but you have End Customer consent to see their details, the information returned can be used to form a Transfer (Provide) order. If you already own the line the information returned can be used as a check when wishing to modify the End Customer’s installation.

Number Port (Import)

Provides you the ability to understand whether or not it will be possible to port your new customers number on an import order as part of a provide order. 

Number Management and Reservation

Using this service over API will give you the ability to access a list of available Directory Numbers and to reserve a specific Directory Number before the provision order is placed.

Number Preservation

Provides a set of pre-order operations that allows you to validate preserved numbers. This service supports the WLR3 product set and the concept of preserving numbers and number ranges for use to a fixed point in the future.

Obtain Switch Details

Provides you the ability to understand what calling and network features are active on your customer's line such as 141 , voicemail etc, together with their associated pins. 

Query Fault History

Using this service over our B2B gateway will give you the last 90 days of fault history on a customers line, this will be helpful in diagnosing customer reported faults and deciding on the appropriate action. 

Line Suitability

Do you need a service to understand what dialogue services can be offered to your end customers using ISDN2e? This Line Suitability dialogue service can do just that providing results in the form of a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status.

Product Availability

Are you looking for a service for Ethernet or Dark Fibre products that allows you to understand whether a product offering could be available between any two given end points, the indicative Excess Construction Charges (ECC) involved and see the visibility of the indicative build category, all before placing an order? Order Completion

Do you want to use a service that will allow you to initiate  an activation for call divert on WLR3 PSTN Single Line when you are ready to move a voice service to FVA? Then select Order Completion dialogue service.

Test Access Product LLU

Are you using LLU MPF and LLU SMPF products? Then you may want to consider Test Access Product (TAP) dialogue service which allows you to use your test head to conduct testing on your own. The types of transactions that can be performed are - Initial Request, Change Probe Type and Extend Test and End Test.

Request Test Routing (TAP NGA)

The Request Test Routing (TAP NGA) service allows you to setup or remove a temporary test path between the GEA Cablelink and your test heads to enable testing. Besides the setup, you cannot use this dialogue service to perform any test and diagnostics, but the temporary test path is a pre-requisite to enable you to perform your own tests. You can request Openreach to apply or release “CVLAN Test Routing” by specifying the mode of Test Route setup as well (Golden CP Test or Golden end customer Test).

Infrastructure Discovery Overview

Do you want to know what Openreach infrastructure is available in the location your end customer has chosen for their EAD service? If not, are there any available T nodes with capacity that can be used within the building? Then the service you need is Infrastructure Discovery Overview.

Trigger Controlled Cessation

What is the Trigger Controlled Cessation dialogue service?

This service supports migration orders from WLR3

(PSTN) and LLU MPF to SOGEA or GEA-FTTP. It may only be used for SOGEA migration orders where Controlled Cessation has been requested and Number

Portability has not.

Trigger Number Export

What is the Trigger Number Export dialogue service?

This service is used to support standalone or integrated number port orders. It may only be used for number export orders where Auto-Postpone has been requested. For integrated number port orders, only migrations from WLR3 PSTN to SOGEA or GEA-FTTP are supported by this service.

Choose to Divert (C2D) Dialogue Service

What is the Choose to Divert (C2D) dialogue service?

This is a feature that is available on WLR3 PSTN single line "Basic" and "Premium" products. C2D allows you to manage the end customers incoming calls based on a number of configurable settings in various number lists. If the call is diverted it will go to a dedicated voice mailbox accessed by dialling 1572.

Same Retailer Marker

Why would you use the Same Retailer Marker dialogue service? 

The Same Retailer Marker service provides the ability to "mark" a losing service with a time-sensitive flag which would indicate that it is targeted for an imminent same retailer migration or transfer. It may be used when a service is being migrated or transferred when the Openreach customer is changing, but

the Retailer remains the same.

You can use the Customer Contact dialogue service to search for contact reference data against a requested journey.

View My Job Volume products

Having problems finding information about your orders? 

Then View My Job Volume products dialogue service is the solution for you. You can use this as a self help tool to search End-to-End milestones and notes relating to your orders, without having to contact the Openreach SMC team. You can view a list of 50 orders using the advance search facility.

Manage Work Item

This capability allows Openreach Single Interface (SI) to expose the creation, update, query and closure of any work item. Work item is used as a generic term here for any desk function.  For example, if Flow has 100 fallouts and there are 2 desk agents working. The UI in Flow does not actually provide this view of split skill and priority. If all the fallouts are fed to Openreach SI as work items and rules and users are configured then Openreach SI can do a prioritization and allocation of the jobs to the agents while also measuring their productivity. Any system can consume the Manage Work Item capability to create, update Cases and/or Work Items in Openreach SI. Openreach Portal uses the Manage Work Item (includes Manage Complaints) capability to create new cases or view the notes/details of existing open cases.

Equipment Discovery

Do you have access to exchanges? 

This Equipment Discovery dialogue service will be handy. It is a service that allows you to view your installed services within exchanges based on pre-defined location identifiers such as Exchange 1141 code, LLUC reference or Skyline/MDF ID's.

You can retrieve this data as a downloadable CSV file with a hierarchical view for offline reference if required. The data will help you identify where spare capacity exists within the location.

Case Management

This service covers your cases, enquiries into Openreach e.g. DSO, escalations, Fibre enquiries, etc. Openreach will deal  with the cases and provide updates. Cases will be closed with RCA analysis and user feedback.

Order and Fault tracker

Do you need to understand the status of your orders and faults for your Copper, Digital and Fibre products?

Then you need Order and Fault Tracker dialogue service.

Commercial Insight Reporting

By using these APIs you will be able to access details of FTTP deployments and the infrastructure deployed by Openreach to support it. Also marketing details and propensity to buy scores for addresses to support campaigns and performance against commercial offers such as Equinox.

Fault to Fibre and New to Network

If you are part of the Fault To Fibre and New To Network commercial offers you will be able to use these APIs to determine if a property is eligible and if an expedited appointment is available for an FTTP install.
