Product development processes and release information

At Openreach, we work hard to bring you the latest technology and innovation. And we’re always looking for ways to make sure our products are the best they can be. 

How we develop products

We follow a standard development process for all our products. We tell you what we’ve got planned using:    

  • our product roadmap: a list of planned activities for our products. That includes things like developments, product trials, launches and withdrawals. We publish the road map every three months
  • external information points (EIP): the standardised ten-stage process we use to develop and improve our      products.

We want to hear your thoughts and requests. So if you think we should make a change to any of our products, or you have an idea for a new one, tell us about it using our statement of requirements process.
