Generic Ethernet Access (GEA) Cablelink

GEA Cablelink lets you connect your own servers or backhaul circuits to the next generation access (NGA) optical line termination (OLT) point in a parent exchange.

How it works

Use GEA Cablelink to connect the NGA Layer 2 Switch (L2S) to your equipment at the point of handover (PoH). You must have licensed accommodation space for each PoH where you want to provide services. If you don’t, you’ll need to order this.

Benefits

  • Lets you use and sell fibre to the cabinet (FTTC), Gfast or fibre to the premises (FTTP) to your customers.
