Fibre Voice Access lets you offer a public switched telephone network (PSTN) quality voice service to your customers over fibre.
We build an analogue telephony adaptor (ATA) into the Fibre to the Premises optical network termination (FTTP ONT) device at your customer’s home or office. The ATA interface can support two analogue telephony ports, so you can connect any existing analogue phone equipment and home wiring to it. You can use one or both ports.

We stopped selling it on 31 March 2020.
What happens if I already have FVA?
We’ll continue to support any existing FVA services. And we’ll work with you to move your customers away from FVA to a different voice product.
FVA offers fibre-based voice services at FTTP-enabled sites that aren’t served by ECI network equipment.
FVA is part of our Superfast Fibre Access NGA portfolio. It offers a fibre-based voice access service to compliment GEA data using an overlay of fibre infrastructure. It uses the same FTTP fibre connection for the whole route between the exchange and the premises being served.
FVA is an alternative to traditional copper-based services. It has the same features while also giving you the potential to develop your own services. FVA is a Publicly Available Telephone Service (PATS) quality voice offering.
