Ethernet Access Direct Sensitive (EAD-S) is a variant of the EAD portfolio that has a number of features that make it particularly appropriate for end customers with high security requirements. EAD-S offers Communication Providers (CPs) the ability to provide Openreach ethernet point to point connectivity using a single dedicated fibre between Network Terminating Equipment (NTE) at each end of the service to sensitive sites. The product is provided without Openreach having any remote management access and using appropriately security cleared personnel.
