This briefing is to inform CPs of reductions to EBD Cancellation Charges and EAD and EBD Early Termination Charges adjustment percentages.

Openreach is announcing reductions to EBD Cancellation Charges and EAD and EBD Early Termination Charges adjustment percentages.

The reduced adjustment percentages will apply from 01/08/2024. 

As an illustration, for EBD circuits cancelled 2 or less working days (WD) before CDD the adjustment percentage is reducing to 82%.  This means that for an EBD order cancelled 2 or less WD before CDD, the contractual 90% of connection charge chargeable is multiplied by the 82% adjustment percentage.   The cancellation charge payable from 01/08/2024 will therefore reduce to 73.8% (90% x 82%).
