ACCN OR907: Connection Special Offer for EAD 10Gb CLA and HNR Market New Provides

Notes:

1. EAD 10Gb’s 5-year minimum period

With no Early Termination Charges (ETCs) after years 4 and 5, EAD 10Gb’s 5-year minimum period functions more akin to a 3-year minimum period. For this reason, Openreach have not decided to extend the 3-year minimum period commitment featured in other special offers onto the £2,058 Connection Special Offer for EAD 10Gb CLA and HNR Market New Provides, since the 5-year term in practice functions as a 3-year minimum period.

2. EAD 1Gb Remote Upgrade Special Offer

If you have not used Openreach's Remote Upgrade journey before, Openreach recommends placing a small volume of Remote Upgrade orders initially to ensure the process works for your organisation.

Best practice on all Ethernet order journeys can be located on the Openreach Portal via 'Help & Support', then 'Guides' (https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/help/guides).

3.     Prohibition of Special Offer consumption for FTTP aggregation use-cases

Consumption of all Special Offers featured within this briefing is prohibited where circuits will be deployed to aggregate FTTP to multiple premises for the purposes of deploying a fibre access network. For more information, as well as each Special Offer’s terms and conditions, please consult each Special Offer’s respective price list entry.

4.     Consumption of EAD 1Gb and EAD 10Gb

Before being able to place orders, CPs will need to establish for Ethernet Access Direct (EAD) For more information on how your organisation can establish for Ethernet Access Direct (AED), please contact Openreach’s Customer Establishment Team via customer.establishment@openreach.co.uk.
