This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).
This briefing is to inform CPs about the withdrawal of the eAOMP function from the Advanced Order Management Process (AOMP).
Openreach is announcing the withdrawal of the eAOMP function that is currently available as part of the Advanced Order Management Process (AOMP).
AOMP is a desk-based pre-order network assessment service designed to support large bids. A current service feature of AOMP is an ability to process a bulk data file through an automated tool to provide an indicative view of the local access network either available or that would be required to deliver Ethernet, Optical or Dark Fibre Access services. This service feature is known as eAOMP.
We have received notice that the server used to host the eAOMP tool is being decommissioned and will have no technical support provided from April 2024. The data produced by the tool is high-level information and will become increasingly void due to lack of updates.
Customers have access to the Manage Plant Availability (MPA) and Infrastructure Discovery (ID) tools on the portal that provide up-to-date views of our access network data.
This notice impacts the eAOMP service only. The standard manual AOMP service will continue to be supported.
The eAOMP function will no longer be available from 15/04/2024.
