This briefing gives CPs 12 months’ notice from the 1st April 2024 of Openreach’s planned changes to its Local Access Dataset (LAD) file. The changes will remap postcodes of 97 exchanges scheduled for closure to their nominated Openreach Handover Point (OHP) exchange. This change will be operative from 1st April 2025 and will be used to determine relevant list pricing from that date. The changes to the LAD file are necessary to support the Openreach exchange exit programme and will enable CPs to receive Local Access pricing for new leased line services at the nominated OHP exchange.
