This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs) who consume FTTP, FTTC, WLR PSTN, Gfast, SOGEA, SOGFast, ISDN2e, LLU MPF, SMPF.

Openreach will be moving View My Engineer from existing SMS platform to Direct End Customer Contact. XLM consumption will not be affected.

We previously communicated in GEN 034/23 the Direct End Customer Contact journey for View My Engineer would go live on 18 July. This date has now changed to 17 July – no other details in the briefing have changed.
