The One Touch Switching Company announced a go-live date for One Touch Switch (OTS) of 14 March 2024. Openreach has shared with industry the changes we are making in support of OTS at various industry forums, via our usual release communications, in briefing GEN069/22 and on our OTS portal page.
In summary, Openreach will be:
All of the above functionality has been deployed switched off. We plan to turn on the first 2 changes on 14 March 2024. As the third change involves the billing system it must be switched on in an EMP release, therefore we are planning to make this change in EMP R5500 (16 March 2024).
In support of the changes we are making, updates have been made to the WLR, MPF and SMPF contracts; draft contracts have been shared and agreed with CPs via the CFPCG Contracts Group. The MPF and SMPF contracts refer out to product documentation for the new MLTs; updated draft product documents have been shared with CPs via the ancillary documents process. Documentation for other products (WLR, FTTP, FTTC, SOGEA and SOTAP) will be updated nearer to OTS go-live.
