NGA2007/23 FTTP post-PONR cancellation charges policy update

This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform all CPs about changes to the FTTP post Point of No Return (PONR) cancellation charges policy.

Following a deep dive review the FTTP post-PONR cancellation policy is being updated, going live from 16/09/2023 (R5350).

•        Maintenance of the post-PONR cancellation charge aligned to the ‘Standard’ connection charge for both ‘Standard’ and ‘Premium’ provision tasks which are cancelled after 1800h the Working Day before an appointment which have no Openreach missed appointment or furthering during the provision

•        Applying the pre-PONR cancellation charge to any FTTP Order cancelled which experiences an Openreach missed appointment or further during the provision journey at any point

•        Raising AVCs for all truck rolls on post-PONR cancelled Orders.

The updated policy is initially going live for a 12-month period and will be reviewed at the CFPCG as appropriate.

The change to the GEA contract and price list, required as part of adopting the new process, will be communicated by the normal forums.
