The Dark Fibre Industry Working Group (DF IWG)
The Dark Fibre IWG will facilitate the discussion between Openreach and interested Communications Providers (CPs). The Dark Fibre IWG will cover the following areas:
• Establish industry agreement around the product definition, provision and repair processes, as well as the contract for a new passive Dark Fibre Product.
• Any issues with the consumption and use of the Openreach Dark Fibre product and the procedures and the engineering principles which support the passive Dark Fibre service in the UK Openreach Access and Backhaul fibre network.
