This briefing is to inform CPs that a new Customer Requirements Form (CRF) form for Ethernet Cablelink has been published.

This briefing is to inform CPs about feature changes to the Ethernet Cablelink Customer Requirements Form.

Version 4 of the CRF, which is used by customers to place new Ethernet Cablelink order, is now available and will become effective from 21 March 2022.

The new version of the CRF includes the following feature changes:

Provide tab:

  • Question 1.7 – Removal of Internal Variant 2 and all NGN variants
  • Question 1.8 – Removal of 48 Fibre option when ordering a Cell Site Variant
  • Question 1.9 – Question has now been split into two, asking for End-Specific Patch Panel requirements
  • Question 1.10 – Enhanced to cover the total number of Patch Panels required
  • Question 2.4c – Removed as no longer applicable and question numbering updated

Ready Reckoner:

  • Removed - Internal Variant 2
  • Added - Cell Site Variant

Both version 3 & 4 of the CRF will be supported for an additional period of one month to support the transition.   On 21 April 2022 version 3 will be removed from the Openreach Portal and any future orders placed using version 3 will be referred to the CP.
