This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform CPs about the extension on the same terms of the current EAD 1Gbps connection special offer of £725 for orders placed in the CLA and HNRs from 31 March 2021 to 31 March 2022, subject to a 3-year Minimum Period.

We're pleased to announce the extension on the same terms of the special offer for 1Gbps EAD product orders placed in the Gigabit Drop Zone areas (covering the CLA and HNR geographic areas), to 31 March 2022. The current offer was previously due to end on 31 March 2021.

The connection special offer will be applicable to new validated orders for the following EAD services:

EAD Extended Reach 1Gbps

EAD Extended Reach 1Gbps Resilient Option 1

The Minimum Period of any circuit that the CP elects to participate in the offer will be extended to 36 months. Should CPs cancel a circuit during this minimum period 100% of any outstanding rentals will be due.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The circuit must be in a Gigabit Drop Zone area. For details on how a circuit is determined to be within an eligible area see our Gigabit Drop Zone page: https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/products/flexzone
• The order must be placed and accepted no later than the last day of this special offer which is 31 March 2022
• The CPs must notify Openreach that they would like their orders to be considered for this special offer, with circuit details, within 45 calendar days of order placement.

Notes

The offer will be fulfilled via a rebate. CPs will receive a rebate for any qualifying order once the order has been completed.
