Renewal of EAD 1Gbps Central London Area (CLA) & Higher Network Reach (HNR) Connection Special Offer.

This briefing is to inform CPs about the renewal of Openreach’s existing EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer for orders placed within CLA and HNR areas from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, subject to a 3-year Minimum Period.

Openreach are pleased to announce the renewal of the EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer for orders placed within Gigabit Drop Zones (covering the CLA and HNR geographic areas) on the same terms as previously offered. The renewed special offer will run from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.

EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer overview:

Eligible products:

Openreach’s EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer will be applicable to new validated orders for the following EAD services:

EAD 1Gbps

EAD Local Access 1Gbps

EAD Extended Reach 1Gbps

Should a CP elect to participate in the EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer, the Minimum Period of eligible circuits will be extended to 36 months. Should CPs cancel a circuit during this minimum period, 100% of any outstanding rentals will be due.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The circuit must be provisioned within a Gigabit Drop Zone area. For details on how a circuit is determined to be within an eligible area see our Gigabit Drop Zone page: https://www.openreach.co.uk/cpportal/products/flexzone
2. The order must be placed and accepted no later than the last day of this special offer which is 31 March 2023.
3. CPs must notify Openreach that they would like their orders to be considered for this special offer, with circuit details, within 45 calendar days of order placement. Notes

• The EAD 1Gbps Connection special offer will be fulfilled via a rebate. CPs will receive a rebate for any qualifying order once the order has been completed.
