This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform CPs about feature changes to the Ethernet Cablelink SIN1001.

As part of the Eco-X and Eco-Repair migration projects the following documents have been updated and added to the Openreach Portal.

• SIN1001 – Updated to Version 1.4
• Bi-directional Test Results Template V1.0

Changes include:

• Removal of process related information, service contact information and references to the legacy systems
• Expansion of Cablelink testing/compliance guidance as well as some document quality of life improvements.
• Creation of new bi-directional testing template with automatic average loss calculations

On 5 September 2022 Version 1.3.1 of SIN1001, Technical Specification Documents CP1 and CP2 will be removed from the portal.
