This briefing is for all Ethernet Communications Providers (CPs).

To inform CPs of an EAD 1000Mbps connection special offer in the FlexZone Plus areas, available to new orders, from 1 July 2019 until 31 March 2020.

We’re pleased to announce a special offer for 1000Mbps EAD products in the FlexZone Plus areas, commencing from 1 July 2019 until 31 March 2020.

Eligible products

The special connection offer will be applicable to new validated orders for the following EAD services, both on standard 12 month Minimum Period and 60 month Minimum Period:

• EAD 1Gbps
• EAD 1Gbps Resilient Option 1
• EAD Local Access 1Gbps
• EAD Local Access 1Gbps Resilient Option 1
• EAD Extended Reach 1Gbps
• EAD Extended Reach 1Gbps Resilient Option 1

Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria apply for an order to be eligible for the offer:

• The circuit must be in a FlexZone Plus area. For detail on how a circuit is determined to be within an eligible area see our FlexZone Plus page www.openreach.co.uk/flexzone
• The order must be placed and accepted within the special offer period of 1 July 2019 to 31 March 2020

Existing rental prices continue to apply.

Connection charges for the 60 month Minimum Period product are the same as above.

Notes

The offer will be fulfilled via a rebate. CPs will receive a rebate for any qualifying order once the order has been completed.
