This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform CPs about the stop sell of the Ethernet Cablelink variants listed below. 

From 21 March 2022 CPs will no longer be able to place new provision orders for these variants:

·         Internal Variant 2 – 12F, 24F, 48F

·         Cablelink Cell Sites – 48F

·         NGN Internal Variant 1,2 & 3 and External Variant

CPs are also advised that we will be making price increases to our other Cablelink variants, effective from 01/04/2022.

This briefing is to notify CPs that we will no longer accept new orders for Internal Variant 2, 48 Fibre Cell Site & any of the NGN variants of Cablelink from 21 March 2022.  We are also advising CPs that we are making price increases to the remaining Cablelink Variants which will take effect from 01/04/2022.

From 21 March 2022 we will no longer accept new provision orders for the following variants of Cablelink:

• Cablelink (Cell sites) 48 Fibre
• Cablelink Internal Variant 2 (Room to OFF) - 12, 24 & 48 Fibre variants
• NGN C/Link Internal Variant 1 (Room to Room)
• NGN Cablelink Internal Variant 2 (Room to OFF)
• NGN C/Link Int Variant 3 (Rm to Cable Chamber)
• NGN Cablelink External Variant 24

There are no current plans to withdraw the products completely and all in-flight orders will continue to be fully supported while they are in service.

All Cease order types will remain supported and any in life issues will still be supported via the T2R processes and procedures.

We are also announcing price increases to the remaining Cablelink variants.  These price increases will take effect from 01/04/2022.
