23/12/2019 For Information
This briefing is for Ethernet Communications Providers (CPs).
This briefing is to inform all CPs about the Launch of a Street Access 1Gbps product.
We're pleased to announce the launch of a new 1Gbps Street Access Product. The new product will be available to order from 31 January 2020.
Street Access 1Gbps offers dedicated point to point Ethernet connectivity to street furniture locations such as Lampposts/Kiosks/CCTV pole accommodation.
The service provides 1Gbps Ethernet with advanced synchronisation features - Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) and Precision Timing Protocol (PTP) making it ideal to support applications requiring very low latency and high levels of time accuracy.
The Street Access 1Gbps product will be available nationally from launch, provided on a 57 working day lead-time (subject to survey) and operate a 5-hour repair service level agreement (SLA).
