This briefing is for LLU and Access Locate Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to advise all LLU and Access Locate Communications Providers (CPs) of revised energy usage per kWh pricing for Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) and Access Locate products.

We're advising CPs of a reduction in the price of energy usage per kWh from £0.1397 to £0.1309 for all comingling products utilised for LLU, Access Locate and Access Locate Plus.

This change will come into effect on 1 April 2019 and any energy used from this date onwards will be charged at the revised rate until further notice.

Details of the revised charge for energy usage per kWh are available on the Openreach website from the LLU pricing page.

We review power prices on a regular basis, and will continue to follow our obligation to be cost orientated.
