This briefing is to inform CPs about price increases and decreases to Dark Fibre Inter Exchange pricing, and the launch of a new product Exchange Patch Panel.
On the 18th March 2021, Ofcom published its Final Statement for the Wholesale Fixed Telecom Market Review (WFTMR), which sets out changes to the pricing regulation applicable to Dark Fibre Inter-Exchange (DFX) pricing.
In light of these changes, Openreach is announcing price changes to a number of DFX products. These price changes include price reductions and price increases. Price reductions will take effect from 01/05/2021 and price increases will take effect from 01/07/2021.
We are also announcing that we will be launching a new product, Exchange Patch Panel, effective from 01/04/2021.
