This briefing is for LLU Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform all CPs about a change to the LLU and Access Locate energy price.

In accordance with regulation Openreach passes through our power costs to CPs. As a result of our regular review, this briefing is to notify CPs of an increase in the price of energy usage per kWh from £0.1500 to £0.1582 for all comingling products utilised for LLU, Access Locate and Access Locate Plus.

This change will come into effect on 1 January 2021 and any energy used from this date onwards will be charged at the revised rate until further notice. We will continue to review our power changes and underlying costs and expect to notify an updated price ahead of the next regulatory period starting on 1 April 2021.
