This briefing is for all Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform PIA established CPs about a change in engineering policy relating to pole loading on 180° distributed poles.

We’ve published a briefing for PIA established CPs advising them of a change to an engineering policy. This policy change has been introduced on 12 April 2021 and is specific to 180° (side) loaded poles without a stay or any wires in the opposing arc.
