This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).
This briefing is to inform all CPs about a special offer to support the trials of accelerated migrations to GEA-FTTP in the next six months.
Openreach is pleased to announce a 6-month special offer on GEA-FTTP connection charges to support the trials testing the concept of accelerated migrations to FTTP for CP’s existing end customers.
Openreach has been discussing with CPs the accelerated adoption of FTTP and has worked with CPs to develop concepts on how Openreach can support faster migration of existing end customers onto the FTTP platform.
The two migration scenarios which Openreach will be testing with CPs are “Proactive” migrations and “Reactive” migrations:
The special offer is a discount of £25 on the prevailing GEA-FTTP connection price, for all existing CP end customers migrated to FTTP during the trial period, subject to meeting the requirements set out in the Terms and Conditions and Trial Scope.
This discount only applies to Standard Managed Install. If the CP orders a Premium Managed Install product, the published list price differential set out in the Openreach Price List between the Standard Connection Price and the price of the Premium Managed Install products will be payable in addition to any connection price.

Interested CPs may request a copy of the Terms and Conditions for further information and these will be available from 31 March 2022.
