This briefing is to inform CPs about changes to the implementation of the one month minimum contract term of GEA-FTTP products, including Fibre Voice Access (FVA) and FTTP on Demand (FOD), as mandated by Ofcom under the 2021 Wholesale Fixed Telecoms Market Review. This change will come into effect from 29 April 2021.

The minimum contract term of GEA-FTTP products will be reduced to one month for orders connected on (or after) 29 April 2021, and not for orders placed on this date as previously notified in ACCN OR706. This will be reflected in the notes on the FTTP, FVA and FOD price lists.
