This briefing is to inform all CPs about changes to the published prices of GEA FTTP and Fibre Voice Access rentals and connections.
Openreach would like to announce the following changes to the price for GEA FTTP and Fibre Voice Access rental and connection products. We believe these changes will make it easier for CPs to choose futureproof ‘full fibre’ technology wherever it’s available to their end customers.
Openreach also plans to introduce new 500Mbps and 1Gbps consumer market variants of its FTTP service later in the financial year 2019/20, with attractive pricing for consumers and home workers.
As part of our ongoing engagement with industry, CPs have asked us for higher upload speeds on FTTP 110Mbit/s / 15Mbit/s and 220Mbit/s / 20Mbit/s products. We are taking this under consideration and will update CPs through existing engagement channels such as the Copper and Fibre Products Commercial Group (CFPCG).

Rental prices for remaining rental variants will take effect from 1 September 2019.
