This briefing is to notify CPs about updates to the GEA-FTTP Only Offer v2. The offer has been updated (effective 1 September 2021), to extend selected terms of the offer shown below until 30 September 2021.
Extension of Secondary Offer Area:
The definition of the Secondary Offer Area in the FTTP Only Offer agreement is revised to mean the premises in the areas covered by Openreach’s Fibre Cities programme that are declared by Openreach as ready for service from 1 April 2020 until 30 September 2021. This is an extension of the Secondary Offer Area to include one additional month of FTTP build in Openreach’s Fibre Cities programme.
Openreach’s Fibre Cities programme cover BT’s commercial rollout (excluding BDUK, New Sites, and Legacy GEA-FTTP rollout programs) to connect Premises across cities, market towns and villages with GEA-FTTP.
Extension of Connection Discounts:
The duration of connection discounts for FTTP New to Network and Non New to Network connections is revised to last until 30 September 2021. This is an extension of one month compared to the current offer in which the duration of connection discounts expires on 31 August 2021.
Extension of use of the Interim Solution:
The revised offer will allow CPs to use the processes below until 30 September 2021, and still qualify for limited time connection discounts:
