This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs) who consume and sell GEA-FTTP. We are pleased to announce the introduction of a special offer for 10Gb FTTP and FTTX Cablelinks on a “Buy Three Get One Free” basis from 7 February 2023 to 6 August 2023.
Openreach is introducing a special offer on GEA-FTTP and FTTX 10Gb Cablelinks on a “Buy Three Get One Free” basis.
The special offer will apply nationwide. By purchasing three 10Gb Cablelinks (at any location), CPs will benefit from the option to order one free 10Gb Cablelink from a list of Layer 2 Switches (L2S) relating to footprint built during or before December 2021 (subject to the exclusion of L2S that are at capacity).
This special offer may be used in conjunction with the Equinox offer. In particular, CPs that have signed-up to the Equinox offer will continue to benefit from Equinox pricing for 10Gb Cablelinks.
Terms of the Offer
Eligibility for free 10Gb Cablelinks will be based on the date orders are accepted by Openreach (rather than the date of completion). Free 10Gb Cablelinks will only be made available if the relevant order is accepted by Openreach within the specified period of the special offer.

This offer is being notified with 90 days’ notice under SMP Condition 8.6 as the price of 10Gb Cablelinks will be conditional on the volume purchased – i.e., a minimum of 3 10Gb Cablelinks need to be purchased to qualify for the free 10Gb Cablelink.
