NGA2020/21 Launch of FTTP Subsequent Provide (as remote activation)

01/10/2021

For information

This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

This briefing is to inform CPs about the launch of FTTP Subsequent Provide from 1 November 2021.

From 1 November 2021, a new charge will be available for FTTP Subsequent Provide when this is processed as a remote activation method of provision, at £25.

CPs will continue to order FTTP as they do today, but if it is possible to remotely activate a circuit that has previously been ceased and where there is a working ONT, this will be charged as an FTTP Subsequent Provide rather than a Standard Provide.

This price will not apply to other types of FTTP Subsequent Provide where a new ONT installation is requested within the order and an appointment is needed to install a new ONT. This price will not apply to first activations on New Site (Greenfield) premises, but it will apply to subsequent activations (after the first activation) of the same port.

This briefing supports ACCN OR739.
