This briefing is for all Communications Providers (CPs).

During week commencing 18 November 2019 Openreach began a Proof of Concept (PoC) on Agile Appointing. This PoC is in relation to Self Install GEA-FTTC provision jobs. On a Self Install (SI) order where an engineer cannot confirm service is working as they would expect, we will contact the end customer to arrange a visit. Previously, opt in was at main contracted CP level only. Openreach are now able to facilitate opt in at a reseller ID (RID) level.

We’ve published a briefing for CPs relating to an update on the Agile Appointing Proof of Concept. Openreach are now able to facilitate opt in at a Retailer ID level. This briefing is an update to briefing GEN095/19
