Openreach is proposing to make CPs aware of orders where there is a suspected potential issue.
This process occurs on rare occasions where our engineers arrive at an end customer’s premises, where CP equipment has been ordered for installation, but the end customer is not aware of the order and is not in receipt of the CP equipment.
Where an engineer suspects there might be an issue, Openreach may contact the CPs chosen security contact or the contact on the order but there is no guarantee.
