Customer Service Plan
CPs can submit a Cease order for GEA-FTTP. This drives Openreach to remove the VLAN service configuration between the Exchange and the ONT. The ONT box itself and any associated end customer premises wiring to the ONT should remain in situ, where it will be ready for future re-connection when needed. The ONT represents both the network and service demarcation points; similar to the master socket in a copper installation.
Where a GEA-FTTP service is ceased within the minimum contract period, charges will be raised for the remainder of the term. More details about the Hold to Term can be found in the Openreach price list by navigating to www.openreach.co.uk>Products>Pricing>Superfast and Ultrafast Fibre Access>5.1.3 Generic Ethernet Access (FTTP)
You can find details about cease lead times in the GEA-FTTP Product Description by navigating from the Openreach CP portal to Products > Fibre Broadband > FTTP > Documents > Product Descriptions > GEA FTTP FoD product description
